Finding a golf glove that actually fits — not just “fits” in the loosest sense of the word — is harder than it sounds. That’s the problem Red Rooster set out to solve, and in this video review, the Life At The Turn crew (Jamie and Bryan) put a haul of Red Rooster gear through real rounds at Sand Valley — in humidity, sideways rain, and cold. Here’s what they found.
Sizing is the selling point
Jamie’s a cadet small — wider palm, shorter fingers — and he’s been sized out of a lot of lines. Red Rooster carries cadet sizing across its entire glove lineup, including rain gloves, which is rare. “There aren’t a lot of cadet sizes in rain gloves,” he notes. If you prefer a tight, form-fitting glove, their range is worth a look.
Gloves that last
Durability is where these separate themselves. Jamie has used Red Rooster’s tour line, mid line, and the “Range Rooster” practice glove — his thumb is his usual tear spot, and these held up through two-and-a-half rounds including extremely humid conditions. Bryan has been on his rain gloves for three years before ordering a second pair; they’re thin enough that even sweaty-handed players can wear them in summer heat, and the raised rooster logo adds a little extra grip.

The vest was low-key excellent light enough to forget you’re wearing it, but it kept the core warm and dry when the rain hit, and was a useful top layer on a cold morning at Mammoth Dunes.
