What’s Really Inside a Classic Golf Shoe in 2026

Golf has always carried a strong sense of tradition. Walk onto most courses and the visual language of the game still looks familiar. Clean silhouettes, refined colors, and footwear that feels connected to the long history of the sport.

The ProS2™ fits comfortably inside that world. The shape feels classic while the styling stays understated. From a distance it resembles the type of shoe golfers have trusted for decades. Look closer and the modern technology inside begins to reveal what brings it to life.

Golf footwear in 2026 has evolved far beyond the heavy leather builds that once defined the category. Modern players expect shoes to support balance, improve traction, reduce fatigue, and work with the natural movement of the foot. The ProS2™ was engineered around those expectations while preserving the traditional look many golfers still prefer.

The result is a shoe that maintains a refined, country-club ready appearance while quietly integrating modern performance technology beneath the surface.

A Classic Look With New Energy

The ProS2™ continues to lean into traditional golf styling. The profile stays clean and minimal while maintaining the polished look many players associate with classic golf footwear.

Three new colorways expand the lineup for 2026.

Each version keeps the same refined silhouette that defines the ProS2™ line. The shoe looks comfortable on a private club tee box, during tournament play, or walking into the clubhouse after a round.

The styling reflects tradition. The construction reflects modern engineering. The ProS2™ platform was redesigned to bring modern performance materials into a classic structure without compromising the visual identity of the shoe.

Premium Waterproof Microfiber Upper

The upper uses a grain-textured luxury microfiber designed to deliver the same refined appearance traditionally associated with leather while improving performance characteristics.

The material remains fully waterproof while allowing greater breathability than traditional leather construction. The microfiber structure helps regulate temperature inside the shoe and allows moisture to dissipate more efficiently throughout the round.

The upper also maintains a soft feel that adapts comfortably to the foot while preserving the structured look expected from a classic golf shoe.

A fully gusseted tongue system seals the lace channel and prevents water or debris from entering the shoe during wet rounds. The waterproof construction provides consistent protection in changing course conditions while maintaining a clean traditional profile.

The Blumaka® Performance Footbed

The most significant update inside the ProS2™ is the integration of the Blumaka® Non_Slip Performance Footbed.

Blumaka technology focuses on improving internal shoe stability while delivering measurable energy return. Independent testing shows the footbed provides 14% higher energy return and 17% more cushioning compared with many traditional aftermarket alternatives.

The non-slip structure helps reduce internal foot movement during the swing. Improved stability inside the shoe allows golfers to apply force into the ground more efficiently while maintaining a more consistent base through impact.

Blumaka footbeds typically retail for around $60 as an aftermarket upgrade. The ProS2™ integrates that technology directly into the platform.

A Platform Built Around Ground Connection

Balance and stability remain central to the design philosophy behind SQAIRZ footwear. The ProS2™ platform includes several structural components designed to improve how golfers interact with the ground.

SmartTraction™ and Ground Contact

Traction plays a critical role in maintaining stability during the golf swing. The ProS2™ outsole uses a hybrid system designed to increase ground contact.

Six replaceable Softspikes® Pivix cleats sit under key pressure zones of the foot while more than 290 micro traction lugs spread across the outsole. The varying heights of these traction elements help maintain grip across different lies and course conditions.

The result is a stable platform that stays planted throughout the swing. Free Spikes for Life ensures golfers can refresh their cleats whenever needed to keep traction performing at its best.

Small Details That Matter During the Round

Several smaller design features contribute to comfort and consistency during play.

Sta-Put™ silicone printed laces help maintain tension so the shoe stays secure throughout the round. Each component contributes to the overall goal of maintaining comfort and stability through eighteen holes.

The Modern Version of a Classic Golf Shoe

The ProS2™ keeps the classic look golfers have trusted for generations. Refined, understated, and built to feel right at home on any course.

Look closer and the modern engineering inside changes the experience. Stability feels stronger and the comfort lasts longer.

A classic golf shoe built for the modern game.
