Proponent Group Summit Dates Are October 26–28, With Agenda Set, Member Signups Commenced

HEATHROW, FL  – Proponent Group’s traditional gathering of member instructors for three days of unique education and networking will happen this year on October 26-28 at Heathrow Country Club in Lake Mary, Florida. The agenda and speaker lineup have been finalized and the organization’s weekly video newsletter, the Member’s Minute, has been sharing details of the planned activities and presentations.

Theme of this year’s Summit is “The Future of Coaching: AI Tools + Human Skills.” Multiple presenters will take a deep dive into how top coaches are already using AI tools to manage their businesses, coach students, create promotional content and save hours on admin every week.

The gathering’s kickoff will be provided by Terry Rowles, a Golf Digest Top 50 Teacher who’ll work live on the lesson tee with students while explaining how he uses AI and other technologies to make complex swing concepts understandable.

Underlying this forum and its content is a belief that artificial intelligence won’t replace the human golf instructor, but the human golf coach will need to adjust their skill set and hone their person-to-person skills to continue to prosper and excel. That’s certainly the viewpoint of Vision54’s Lynn Marriott and Pia Nilsson, who’ll be on hand to describe in detail “The Coaching Edge that Machines Can’t Match.”

Dr. Jim Suttie, 2000 PGA of America National Coach of the Year and a pioneer in the use of technology in coaching, will similarly speak on how he has balanced 50 years of technological advances with the critical human skills in his own coaching with his presentation: “Teaching Golf: Build the Skills that Machines Can’t Replace.”  These presentations offer a strong one-two punch to help Proponent member coaches better understand how to protect their careers in an AI-driven tech world.

Proponent Group Summits, through the years, have helped participant coaches to polish their teaching skills, increase golfer demand for their services and grow their bottom line profits. No other industry education event provides as high a return on the investment.
