CONCEPT: Modern Roots draws inspiration from the raw power of the forest, blending contemporary style with performance for golf and life

Premium high-tech golf apparel brand Galvin Green is taking its CONCEPT collection in a bold nature-inspired direction for Autumn/Winter 2026 with CONCEPT: Modern Roots, a distinctive drop inspired by the raw power and quiet strength of the forest.

Designed for the modern golfer, the collection brings together contemporary silhouettes, expressive detailing and performance-driven fabrics to create pieces that move effortlessly between the golf course, the city and the natural world. With ‘Play Anywhere. Wear Everywhere.’ at its core, CONCEPT: Modern Roots continues to challenge traditional perceptions of what golf clothing can be.

“CONCEPT: Modern Roots is about bringing together two worlds that naturally complement each other – the raw, understated character of nature and the energy of modern life,” said Sofia Ask Klason, Global Brand Director at Galvin Green.

“We took inspiration from the forest and translated that into the colors, textures and graphic elements throughout the collection, while keeping the versatility and performance that are fundamental to every Galvin Green product. We wanted these pieces to feel at home on the golf course, but just as relevant when you’re away from it,” she added.

The collection draws on the colors, textures and understated strength of the natural world, expressed through two distinctive color stories: Jungle Green and Navy. Rich Jungle Green tones sit alongside Navy, Black and Blue Slate, creating a versatile palette that balances organic inspiration with a contemporary, urban aesthetic. Across the six-piece collection, every garment is available in two colorways, with Jungle Green providing a consistent thread alongside Navy or Blue Slate depending on the style.

At the heart of Modern Roots is a selection of outerwear that combines protection from the elements with clean, modern styling. The AUSTIN jacket is a fully waterproof and windproof winter layer featuring lightweight Thermore® padding and a laminated hood, with Pertex® Shield Stretch technology providing protection while allowing freedom of movement. Made primarily from recycled materials, including a recycled polyester face fabric and padding, the DRYVR™ jacket delivers technical performance with a more responsible approach to construction.

The LEGEND shacket takes a more relaxed approach to layering, blending the familiar styling of a classic overshirt with the windproof functionality of an INTERFACE-1™ jacket. Made from recycled nylon, it features a button-down front, zip pockets and a structured cut that allows it to work just as naturally away from the course.

For transitional weather conditions, the LAMAR vest delivers lightweight warmth without unnecessary bulk. Constructed from recycled nylon with Thermore® recycled polyester padding, the INTERFACE-1™ vest features a printed lining and contrasting details for a streamlined silhouette with a distinctive CONCEPT aesthetic.

Modern Roots introduces a strong streetwear influence through the DANBY hooded sweatshirt. Its jacquard knit pattern, soft fleece interior, high neck and close-fitting hood give the breathable INSULA™ mid layer a contemporary edge, while 100% recycled polyester construction delivers warmth, comfort, stretch and quick-drying performance.

The line-up’s connection with the natural world is particularly evident in the MARSH polo shirt, which features a bold stonewashed aerial print inspired by golf landscapes viewed from above. Contrasting ribbed trims add definition to the graphic design, while the high-stretch VENTIL8™ PLUS fabric offers breathability, quick-dry properties and UV protection.

Providing a more understated option, the MURDOCH long-sleeve polo in VENTIL8™ PLUS fabric features contrasting ribbed collar and cuffs in black to deliver a premium, contemporary look. Designed to layer easily during cooler conditions, it brings a clean, refreshing finish to the Modern Roots wardrobe.

The AUSTIN, LEGEND, LAMAR and MARSH are offered in Jungle Green and Navy, while the DANBY and MURDOCH are available in Jungle Green and Blue Slate, giving golfers a choice of complementary color options across the collection.

As with previous CONCEPT collections, versatility is central to the Modern Roots vision. The garments are designed to be mixed and matched across the collection and paired with PEDRO shorts and NICK trousers in Navy and Sand, creating looks that transition seamlessly from the course to everyday environments.

Sustainability remains an important consideration, with recycled materials featuring prominently across the collection alongside garments made using bluesign®-approved fabrics and without the intentional use of PFAS. By combining responsibly sourced material choices with performance-driven and contemporary design, Modern Roots reflects Galvin Green’s continued evolution of the CONCEPT philosophy.

The CONCEPT: Modern Roots collection is available from selected stockists today and online at www.galvingreen.com.
