Evenplay Co-Founder Sameer Gupta to show operators how programming, sponsorship and membership models can outrun a market that has grown to nearly 3,850 venues nationwide

PHOENIX, Ariz. — The Indoor Golf Alliance today announced a free live webinar, “How to Make More Money From the Bays You Already Have,” addressing one of the fastest-growing challenges facing indoor golf operators: how to earn more without raising hourly rates in an increasingly crowded market. The session takes place Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 9 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. MT / 11 a.m. CT / 12 p.m. ET.

The webinar will be presented by Sameer Gupta, Co-Founder of Evenplay, and hosted by the Indoor Golf Alliance.

Most indoor golf facilities still sell a single product: an hour in a bay, priced between $25 and $55. That model worked while demand outpaced supply. With nearly 3,850 indoor golf venues now operating across 838 U.S. markets — and bars, country clubs and apartment buildings increasingly adding bays of their own — operators have little room left to raise their hourly rate.

“A higher hourly rate is not the answer, because almost nobody has room to raise it,” the Alliance said in describing the session. “This webinar is about where the money comes from instead.”

During the hour-long session, Gupta will walk attendees through the four kinds of facility programming — lessons, tournaments, leagues and promotions — and show operators what each requires to run, what it earns, and the order in which to introduce them. The webinar will also cover building recurring revenue through leagues, memberships, packages and passes; reading facility-specific demand curves to identify underused hours; raising revenue per hour through food and beverage attachment and booking flow; running competitions backed by a trusted handicap system and real prizing; and structuring sponsorship deals with both local businesses and national partners.

Attendees will also learn how to identify the player segments their facility is best positioned to serve, how to compete with amenity bays appearing in bars, clubs and apartment buildings, and how to distinguish spending that keeps the doors open from spending that brings players through them.

Session Highlights

  • Run the four kinds of programming — lessons, tournaments, leagues and promotions
  • Build recurring revenue through leagues, memberships, packages and passes
  • Identify underused hours using facility-specific demand curves
  • Raise revenue per hour through food and beverage attachment and booking flow
  • Run competitions backed by a trusted handicap and real prizing
  • Sell local and national sponsorships
  • Choose the player segments their facility is built to serve
  • Compete effectively with amenity bays in bars, clubs and apartment buildings

Every attendee will complete a take-home worksheet during the session, capturing their facility’s busiest and emptiest hours, current and planned programming, target player segment, and local sponsorship prospects.

Who Should Attend

The webinar is designed for owners, general managers and operating partners of indoor golf facilities, golf entertainment venues, academies and simulator studios — including both single-location operators and multi-location groups standardizing programs across sites.
