YouTube golf star to make his PGA TOUR debut in Detroit this July

DETROIT – The Rocket Classic Presented by AlumniFi announced today that Brad Dalke, the professional golfer who has earned widespread fame on YouTube and other social media platforms as part of Good Good Golf’s team of content creators, has accepted a sponsor exemption to play in the 2026 tournament.

Dalke will make his PGA TOUR debut when the Rocket Classic returns to Detroit Golf Club for its eighth consecutive year, July 30 – August 2.

Tickets are available at www.RocketClassic.com.

Dalke finished runner-up at the 2016 U.S. Amateur at Oakland Hills, earning invitations into the 2017 Masters Tournament and the 2017 U.S. Open. He also led the University of Oklahoma to the 2017 NCAA Championship.

“I couldn’t be more excited to make my PGA TOUR debut at the Rocket Classic while representing Good Good Golf,” Dalke said. “Coming back to Detroit 10 years after competing in the U.S. Amateur makes this even more special. I’m grateful to the leaders at Rocket, the Rocket Classic and the PGA TOUR for recognizing how golf is evolving and for embracing new ways to connect content creation with the professional game.”

Dalke will join a group of PGA TOUR stars who have committed to the 2026 tournament, including World No. 3 Cameron Young, World No. 5 Russell Henley, two-time major champion and World No. 10 Xander Schauffele, 2025 U.S. Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley and past Rocket Classic winners Rickie Fowler and Tony Finau. Other sponsor exemptions for this year’s Rocket Classic include Southfield, Michigan native Joe Hooks and University of Alabama sophomore William Jennings, winner of the 2025 Folds of Honor Collegiate tournament.

“We’re always looking for ways to connect with new audiences in Detroit and continue building one of the most fan-friendly events on the PGA TOUR,” said Mark Hollis, Rocket Classic Tournament Director. “Brad has made a tremendous impact both on the course and through the way he connects with fans across different platforms. He’s a proven competitor, an engaging personality and someone who reflects where the game is headed. We’re excited to welcome him to Detroit and give our fans the opportunity to experience his energy and passion firsthand.”

Dalke, 28, has quickly emerged as one of the most popular creators in golf, building an audience of nearly one million followers across his social channels. He has also established himself as one of the game’s top competitive creators, highlighted by several notable victories over the past year.

In May 2025, Dalke teamed with Josh Richards and Erik Anders Lang to win the third Creator Classic at Philadelphia Cricket Club, and he won the fourth Creator Classic in August at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. He also earned a share of the $1 million prize for winning the inaugural Internet Invitational last summer alongside teammates Francis Ellis and Cody “Beef” Franke.

He is scheduled to compete in the DP World Tour’s BMW International Open in Germany this July and the PGA TOUR’s Good Good Championship in Austin, Texas, in November.

About the Rocket Classic

The Rocket Classic made history in 2019 as the first PGA TOUR event ever held in the city of Detroit and has continued to make a positive and lasting impact on the city and its residents through its multi-year “Changing the Course” campaign, established in 2020 to end the digital divide in Detroit and ensure digital accessibility for all city residents. The Rocket Classic was the most awarded event during the 2018-19 PGA TOUR season, being recognized for “Best Special Event” (then known as the AREA 313 Celebrity Challenge) and “Best Tournament Sales” as well as being honored with the first “Fair Way Award” for its diversity and inclusion initiatives. The Fair Way Award was bestowed upon the Rocket Classic again in 2023 and 2024, and in 2024 the tournament also received the Best Volunteer Program award. More information is available at RocketClassic.com and on Facebook, X and Instagram (@RocketClassic).
