Phoenix, Ariz.   – Phoenix Country Club will host the top 36 golfers of the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions season at the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, Thursday – Sunday, November 13 – 16. Steven Alker is seeking his third Charles Schwab Cup in the last four seasons (2022, 2024), competing against a star-studded field that includes Miguel Angel Jiménez, Stewart Cink, Ernie Els, Thomas Bjørn, Padraig Harrington, Justin Leonard, Retief Goosen, Jerry Kelly, Vijay Singh and 2024 Charles Schwab Cup Championship tournament winner, Bernhard Langer.

The 2025 Charles Schwab Cup Championship will mark the 51st professional golf tournament played at Phoenix Country Club in the historic venue’s 126-year history – more than any other golf facility in Arizona (TPC Scottsdale is number two with 37 events). The Charles Schwab Cup Championship has been played at Phoenix Country Club since 2017 after relocating from Desert Mountain Country Club. In addition to the Schwab Cup, the revered downtown Phoenix club hosted the Phoenix Open 42 times, including annually from 1932-1954 and 1972-1986, and every other year between 1956 and 1970.

“The members of Phoenix Country Club are honored to once again host the Charles Schwab Cup Championship, continuing the Club’s long-standing tradition of welcoming the game’s top professionals,” said Phoenix Country Club Board President Ryan Luke. “As we celebrate our 126th anniversary, we take great pride in Phoenix Country Club’s enduring legacy and its vital role in shaping both Arizona golf and the history of professional golf.”

As part of the 2025 Charles Schwab Cup Championship, Phoenix Country Club will also host the third annual Executive Women’s Day presented by Troon on Thursday, November 13. This high-level networking event and breakfast will focus on topics vital to professional women including corporate leadership, network expansion, philanthropy and utilizing a professional golf event as a business and relationship builder.

Gates open each day at 9:30 a.m. with free shuttle service available from Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum. For information on parking and to purchase tickets, please visit www.schwabcup.com.
