About This Request

Indoor Golf Academy University (IGAU) is building a speaker and instructor roster to deliver our core curriculum to indoor golf facility owners, operators, and staff. We’re looking for practitioners, consultants, and industry experts who can teach real-world, actionable content across five curriculum tracks.

We welcome submissions from active facility owners/operators, simulator and technology vendors, PGA/LPGA professionals, marketing and finance consultants, and operations specialists with direct experience in the indoor golf or broader entertainment/hospitality industry.

Sessions may be delivered as: live in-person workshops, virtual webinars, recorded video modules, or panel discussions. Indicate your preferred format(s) in your submission.

Curriculum Tracks & Topics

Review the list below and identify which topic(s) you are qualified and available to speak on. You may apply for more than one track or topic.

  1. Business & Entrepreneurship
  • Starting an indoor golf business
  • Choosing the right simulators
  • Financial planning & ROI
  • Marketing & branding
  • Partnerships & sponsorships
  • Multi-location operations
  1. Technology & Product Training
  • Simulator systems (Trackman, Foresight, E6, Full Swing, etc.)
  • Software setup & integration
  • Launch monitor technology
  • Network & AV setup basics
  • Space design & buildout
  1. Operations & Facility Management
  • Staff training
  • Safety & policies
  • Check-in systems
  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Maintenance schedules
  1. Events, Groups & Corporate Sales
  • Selling group packages
  • Running leagues & tournaments
  • Holiday parties & private events
  • Hospitality best practices
  • Sales scripts & outreach templates
  1. Player Development & Instruction
  • Teaching with technology
  • Youth programs
  • Leagues and group lessons
  • Gamification and performance tracking

What We’re Looking For

  • Real-world expertise: direct, hands-on experience in the topic area — not just theoretical knowledge
  • Practical, actionable content: attendees should leave with tools, templates, or steps they can apply immediately
  • Engaging delivery: comfort presenting to a mixed audience of first-time owners and experienced operators
  • Willingness to share materials: slide decks, templates, checklists, or worksheets that support the session (IGAU can help format these)

Vendor speakers (simulator manufacturers, software providers, etc.) are welcome and encouraged for Track B, provided sessions remain educational rather than a sales pitch.

Session Formats & Length

Format Typical Length
Workshop / deep-dive session 45–60 minutes + Q&A
Webinar (virtual) 30–45 minutes + Q&A
Panel discussion 45 minutes (multiple speakers)
Recorded video module 10–20 minutes

Let us know your preferred format and typical session length in your submission — final scheduling will be coordinated together.

How to Apply

Please submit the following:

  1. Speaker name and title
  2. Company / affiliation
  3. Curriculum track(s) and specific topic(s) you’re proposing to cover
  4. Short bio (150 words or fewer)
  5. Relevant experience — a few sentences on your background in this topic area
  6. Preferred format (workshop, webinar, panel, recorded module) and session length
  7. Availability (general date ranges or ongoing availability)
  8. Sample materials or past speaking experience (optional but encouraged — links to slides, videos, or references)
  9. Compensation expectations, if any (paid engagement, revenue share, exposure/promotion, complimentary conference pass, etc.)

Submission method: phili@indoorgolfalliance.org Submission deadline: Sept 15th 2026

Selection & Next Steps

  1. Submissions are reviewed by the IGAU curriculum team for topic fit and expertise
  2. Selected speakers will be contacted to confirm scheduling, format, and logistics
  3. A short onboarding call will cover audience expectations, technical setup (for virtual sessions), and content review timeline
  4. Speakers will be featured in IGAU promotional materials with bio and headshot (with permission)

Questions?

For questions about this speaker program or the curriculum, contact: phili@indoorgolfalliance.org Thank you for your interest in helping shape the next generation of indoor golf entrepreneurs and operators.
