In his first tournament appearance of 2026, Scheffler fired impressive rounds of 63-64-68-66 to outpace a crowded field of veteran Tour players and rising newcomers. He led the field in Birdies (32) and Putts Per Green in Regulation (1.54). With the victory, Scheffler joins Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus as the only players in golf history to reach 20 wins and four majors before the age of 30.
