Club Car and ezLocator Expand Partnership to Bring Hole Location Planning Directly Into the Visage Experience

Club Car Visage-equipped courses will gain complimentary access to ezLocator hole-location software with upgrade options to include LiDAR intelligence, automated hole rotation, and survey-grade precision.

DALLAS – ezLocator, a leader in golf course hole location management technology, today announced an expanded partnership with Club Car that will bring ezLocator’s hole location planning technology directly into the Club Car Visage experience.

As part of the expanded partnership, every golf course using Club Car Visage will receive access to ezLocator Starter at no additional cost, giving superintendents a digital tool for planning and managing zone-based hole rotations directly within the Visage interface.

The expanded offering creates a progression path from simple digital rotation planning to advanced, data-driven hole location management, allowing clubs to select the level of planning intelligence that best fits their operation.

“Club Car has always been focused on connecting technology across the golf operation, and this partnership takes that a meaningful step further,” said Jon Schultz, CEO of ezLocator. “By adding Pins by ezLocator directly into Visage, we can give more superintendents a path to simplify pin rotation while reducing labor, improving accuracy, and most importantly, eliminating poor or incorrect hole placement. The combination of Pins by ezLocator, GEOEZ, and Club Car Visage delivers best-in-market pin placement that can eliminate cup placement mistakes, deliver premium hole selection, and ensure golfer satisfaction on every round.”

From Digital Rotation to Advanced Hole-Location Intelligence

ezLocator Starter gives Club Car Visage customers a digital approach to zone-based rotation planning, including calendar-based scheduling, configurable locations, advance planning, Special Events management and printable pin sheets.

Courses looking for greater control and automation can upgrade within the ezLocator platform through three additional levels:

  • Basic moves courses from zone-based rotation to true hole-based planning, with unlimited hole-location options, automatic hole generation and complete placement history to support repeatable planning.
  • Lite adds LiDAR-mapped green intelligence, incorporating detailed slope and elevation data to produce more precise hole-location options.
  • Premium adds survey-grade green mapping, detailed heat maps and the ability to incorporate stimp and green speed into the planning process, providing ezLocator’s highest level of hole-location precision and control.

Together, the four levels create a progression from digital rotation management to increasingly sophisticated planning based on the physical characteristics and playing conditions of each green.

Connecting the Superintendent’s Plan to the Golfer

For courses using ezLocator Basic, Lite or Premium, the existing Club Car integration can also be added to connect the superintendent’s approved daily hole locations with the Visage-equipped car fleet.

With the integration enabled, ezLocator remains the system of record for hole-location data while approved daily locations are automatically transferred into Club Car’s Visage environment. Golfers can then see accurate hole-location information and yardages from the cart, without requiring golf shop staff to manually enter or update pin positions.

The result is a more connected workflow from planning in the superintendent’s office, to execution on the green, to the information presented to the golfer.

“Our expanded partnership with ezLocator gives customers another way to simplify course operations while improving the information available to golfers,” said Brant Mitchell, Vice President of Product Management. “By bringing hole-location planning into the Visage experience and creating a direct connection between the superintendent’s daily plan and the golf car, we’re helping clubs create a more connected operation from course setup through the golfer experience.”

The expanded partnership also gives Club Car representatives a direct path to introduce customers to the broader ezLocator platform. Courses that want to move beyond Starter can work with Club Car and ezLocator to determine the planning level and integration capabilities that best fit their operation.

“Pins by ezLocator is designed to provide immediate value, but the bigger opportunity is what happens as clubs connect more of their operation,” Schultz said. “The superintendent can plan the day, the crew can execute the plan, the golf shop can work from the same information, and ultimately the golfer can see that approved hole location on the Visage screen. It creates one connected source of truth for the daily course setup.”

Availability

Pins by ezLocator will be available to select Club Car Visage customers with a rollout starting November 2026.

Existing and new Club Car Visage customers will be able to access Starter directly through the Visage interface using an ezLocator account. Clubs interested in advanced hole-location planning can upgrade to ezLocator Basic, Lite or Premium, with the Club Car integration available as an add-on for paid ezLocator tiers.
