New integration lets golfers buy range buckets, reload range cards and redeem range memberships inside their course’s branded app, with no second app to download
SAN DIEGO, Calif. – Gallus Golf, the mobile app and loyalty platform used by 900 golf courses across North America, today announced an integration partnership with Select Pi, the golf operations platform powering payments, ball dispensing and range commerce at 700+ golf facilities worldwide. The integration puts Select Pi’s range purchasing and redemption tools directly inside each course’s custom Gallus-built mobile app.
Golfers no longer need a separate app or a second login to use the range. Through single sign-on, a golfer’s course app profile is automatically connected to their Select Pi account, creating one seamless experience from the first tap to the first swing. The integration is live now at Miles of Golf in San Diego and Carlsbad Golf Center in Carlsbad, Calif.
What golfers can do in the app
Depending on how a course sets up its range, golfers can:
- Buy a bucket of range balls in a few taps
- Load or reload a range card and use the balance on buckets, with bonus value shown up front (for example, $20 gets $24 and $100 gets $130)
- Redeem a range membership by showing a QR code at the ball machine
- View a digital range map with real-time distances to every target on the range
What courses get
- A seamless experience through single sign-on. Golfers log in once. Their course app and Select Pi accounts stay in sync automatically, with no extra passwords or setup.
- One platform that centralizes the golfer experience. Gallus brings tee times, loyalty, memberships, F&B and now the range together in the course’s own branded app, connecting multiple technologies behind a single front door for the golfer.
- More range revenue. Bonus-value reloads and easy bucket purchases encourage golfers to spend more, more often.
- Better customer data. Range activity is tied to a known golfer profile, giving courses a fuller picture of each customer for marketing and retention.
