New certification delivers an integrated body and swing system for PGA professionals and fitness coaches seeking measurable results, long-term athletic development, and business growth

York, England  — DRVN Golf has announced the launch of its new DRVN Certified Pro™ certification, a comprehensive education pathway designed to unify golf instruction, physical training, and wellness into one connected system. The program is built for PGA professionals, golf coaches, and fitness instructors who work with golfers and want a practical, applied framework they can use immediately.

For decades, golf instruction and physical training have evolved on parallel tracks. One coach teaches the swing. The other treats the body. DRVN Golf was built on the belief that this separation is the root cause of stalled progress, injury, and inconsistent results. The certification begins with movement quality, mobility, and physical capacity, then connects those inputs directly to swing mechanics, ball flight, and on-course outcomes using launch monitor data and video analysis.

What Sets the DRVN Golf Curriculum Apart

Most golf fitness and performance programs focus on screening tools or isolated concepts – and leave professionals guessing how to coach sustainable change. DRVN Golf delivers a full operating system for coaching golfers across skill levels and life stages.

Key Differentiators Include:

  • A standardized assessment model – Mobility and fitness testing (e.g., DRVN Golf Fitness Handicap™️) linksphysical limitations directly to swing characteristics such as speed, path and angle of attack, rather than existing standalone evaluations.
  • A clear progression framework – Golfers move through Wellness, Fitness, and Performance training phases based on age, goals, and playing demands. Coaches learn how to scale training for juniors, competitive amateurs, elite players, and aging golfers within one system.
  • Direct integration of body and swing – The curriculum connects biomechanics, gym-based training, and on-course practice. Coaches learn how physical improvements translate into swing efficiency, skill acquisition, and scoring gains across the full game, including short game and putting.
  • Data-backed decision making – Launch monitor metrics and swing video are used to confirm progress, guide programming, and create clear cause-and-effect understanding between training and performance.
  • Built-in business development – Certified professionals receive education on positioning, pricing, marketing and client growth, along with access to the DRVN network, shared resources, and continued development opportunities.

Designed for Where the Game is Headed

As the golf industry has seen a mass of new players the last half decade as well as advances in technology and training, many golfers plateau not because of technique—but because their bodies cannot support the swing they are being taught. Coaches see it. Fitness professionals sense it. Few systems connect the dots. DRVN Golf was built to do exactly that.

The certification addresses common industry challenges:

  • Golf coaches seeking tools to address physical limitations affecting swing progress.
  • Fitness professionals looking for sport-specific credibility with golfers.
  • Clubs and academies aiming to deliver measurable performance and longevity outcomes.
  • Professionals seeking new revenue streams tied to results, not generic training

Industry Expertise and Real-World Application

The DRVN Golf Curriculum is developed and delivered with input from PGA professionals, sports medicine experts, performance coaches, and elite competitors. Contributors include leaders in golf biomechanics, long drive, rehabilitation, nutrition, and digital training platforms, ensuring content reflects real-world coaching demands.

“The future of golf coaching sits at the intersection of movement, mechanics, and performance,” said Michael Dennington, founder of DRVN Golf and PGA Professional. “This curriculum gives professionals a shared language and a clear system. It helps them keep golfers healthy, improve outcomes, and build sustainable businesses.”

Enrollment and Availability

The DRVN Golf certification is now open in the United States and United Kingdom. The program is designed for:

  • PGA professionals and teaching pros
  • Golf coaches and academy instructors
  • Personal trainers and fitness coaches working with golfers
  • Physiotherapists and rehabilitation specialists in golf settings
