Eighth Year of Partnership Brings Expanded Support, Women’s-Only Championship, and Nationwide Clinics to Empower Golfers of All Abilities

DALLAS – Adaptive golf continues to experience significant growth, driven by increased awareness, key programs, the success of major adaptive events, and the backing from companies such as Arcis Golf, the owner and operator of 88 private, resort, and daily fee clubs in the United States.

For the eighth consecutive year, Arcis Golf is partnering with the U.S Adaptive Golf Alliance (USAGA) by offering financial, golf course access, and program support. USAGA, a non-profit organization headquartered in Westmont, Ill., brings the joy of adaptive golf to individuals of all abilities — including veterans, amputees and children with special needs — regardless of health, physical, mental, or sensory status.

“We are grateful to Arcis Golf for their unwavering commitment and ongoing partnership, which helps empower us to advance our mission of enriching lives through the inclusive spirit of golf,” said Jonathan L. Snyder, Executive Director, USAGA. “Their steadfast assistance enables us to reach and positively impact more than 50,000 individuals each year across North America and beyond through our member organizations.”

According to Snyder, his organization focuses on three core pillars to promote inclusive golf:

  • Teach – The USAGA and its member organization Adaptive Golf Academy provide training for adaptive golf coaches in communities nationwide to build the volunteer force that makes these opportunities possible. More than 6,700 free adaptive lessons were given in 2025 just in IL., including clinics at schools and driving ranges.
  • Play– The USAGA and its adaptive golf coaches provide instructional opportunities with adaptive golf programs and on-course experiences.
  • Compete – Its 58 member organizations host adaptive golf programs utilizing coach training and tournaments under USAGA Rankings and Standards (USAGR™), which provide participants the opportunity to show their skills and compete. A record 47 competitive events were held by the USAGA in 2025.

Arcis Golf will be a sponsor of the inaugural USAGA Women’s Adaptive Clinic and Championship, scheduled to take place in Arizona in April. The event aligns with Arcis Golf’s focus on embracing the women’s game at all levels. Also, this year, the USAGA will conduct its first-ever Net National Championship using the USAGA Rankings and Standards for scoring.

Blake Walker, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Arcis Golf, said the collaboration between Arcis Golf and the USAGA is a perfect match, as making golf accessible to a broad cross-section of audiences has been one of Arcis Golf’s core tenets since its founding more than a decade ago.

“Through our work with the USAGA, we aim to encourage greater inclusion in the golf community and are committed to expanding opportunities for all adaptive golfers,” said Walker. “We are proud to help foster an environment where every player can thrive, build confidence, and experience the joy of the game.”

Walker said Arcis Golf will be offering in-person instruction to adaptive golfers, sponsoring free clinics at its Illinois properties, including Ruffled Feathers Golf Club (Lemont), Tamarack Golf Club (Naperville), and Eagle Brook Country Club (Geneva). As it has in past years, Ruffled Feathers will host a six-session driving range program on consecutive Tuesday afternoons in the spring, focusing on grip, chipping, pitching, and putting for groups of five to 10 participants.

Across the country, Arcis Golf’s PGA professionals help adaptive golfers build confidence and use golf as therapy through inclusion. Single rider carts are available for adaptive golfers at select Arcis Golf clubs in Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago, and Los Angeles. These same facilities are open for instructional opportunities for members of the adaptive community who wish to learn to play the game.

Among the firm’s other corporate social responsibility initiatives are the Arcis-HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Golf Championship, Women in Golf Foundation Inc., Clearview H.O.P.E. Women Veterans, and the Els for Autism Foundation.
