ROCKLIN, CA — The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) has opened applications for its 2027 Platinum Awards, the annual program recognizing the Top 100 Golf Shops and the International Merchandiser of the Year. Applications close Friday, August 7, 2026, and can be submitted at https://agmplatinumawards.smapply.us/.
The AGM Platinum Awards: Top 100 Golf Shops honors facilities that set the standard in golf retail — from visual merchandising and product strategy to member and guest experience. The program is open to private clubs, resorts, public facilities, and off-course retailers around the world.
The International Merchandiser of the Year Award, now in its second year, recognizes individuals who demonstrate creativity, leadership, and a commitment to excellence in retail operations across private, resort, and public facilities. AGM membership is required for the individual award.
Applicants may choose to participate in one or both award categories. The AGM Platinum Awards: Top 100 Golf Shops recognize facilities, while the International Merchandiser of the Year Award honors individual achievement. Participation in the Top 100 Golf Shops award application is not required for individual consideration, and multiple individuals from the same facility are welcome to apply.
Applicants are encouraged to submit strong visuals, meaningful metrics, and thoughtful written responses that clearly communicate their story and impact. The application process is designed to provide value beyond recognition, offering an opportunity to evaluate business performance, highlight best practices, and identify areas for continued growth.
Winners will be celebrated during the 2027 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, where the Top 10 Best of the Best facilities will be revealed alongside the Cashman Award for Visual Excellence.
