The series will feature full-field events in the Palm Springs area, Long Beach and Dallas, and is open to APGA Tour members as well as pros outside the APGA

LOS ANGELES – The Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour, in conjunction with Farmers Insurance, today announced the return of the APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series, featuring three new tournaments that will expand the 2026 APGA Tour schedule to 15 events.

The tournaments include:

  • APGA at Mission Hills: September 14-16 at Mission Hills Country Club – Pete Dye Challenge Course in Rancho Mirage, California
  • APGA at El Dorado: September 28-30 at El Dorado Park Golf Course in Long Beach, California
  • APGA at Cedar Crest: October 25-27 at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas

All three tournaments and venues are new to the APGA Tour. For the first time, each full-field event will be open to any professional men’s golfer, including those who do not carry 2026 APGA Tour membership.

The APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series is in its sixth year and was created to extend professional development opportunities for APGA golfers to advance their careers by providing additional playing and earning opportunities.

“The APGA is delighted to continue working with Farmers Insurance, and our members are grateful for the support of Farmers® in providing enhanced professional development opportunities through the APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series,” said Solomon Hughes, Chief Operating Officer of the APGA.

“We think the APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series will foster a higher standard of golf as we open our fields to pros outside the APGA Tour. We are excited to share our mission with more golfers, and we hope that increased competition will prepare APGA players for higher levels of golf.”

Each APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series tournament will consist of 36 holes of competition over two days, preceded by a practice round, and will feature a $33,000 purse. In addition to APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series tournaments, Farmers Insurance will host an APGA Professional Development Day during the APGA at El Dorado.

”The APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series provides a meaningful opportunity for players to compete, develop their game and showcase their talent,” said Mark Welch, Chief People Officer for Farmers Insurance. “We’re excited to see this year’s series expand to new communities and welcome golfers from across the professional ranks.”

The APGA Farmers Insurance Fall Series is among several initiatives the organization engages in to support the APGA’s mission. Farmers sponsors APGA Foundation youth clinics, which are designed to introduce children to golf while promoting health and wellness in communities local to its events.

Since its inception, the APGA Tour has featured more than 600 professional golfers among its membership and has helped to advance its current and past members on to more than 200 starts in PGA TOUR events.

Founded in 2010, the APGA is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring an inclusive future through the game of golf. For more information on the APGA, visit apgatour.org.

About the APGA Tour

The APGA Tour was established in 2010 as a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring an inclusive future through the game of golf. The APGA Tour Board of Directors works diligently to accomplish this by hosting and operating professional golf tournaments, player development programs, mentoring programs, and by introducing the game to inner city young people. In addition to conducting 15 tournaments awarding more than $1 million in prize and bonus money in 2026, the APGA has organized a Player Development Program to aid golfers as they work to chase their professional golf goals.
