Growing campus partnerships, the launch of the Playbook Collection, and expanded direct-to-consumer offerings highlight Ahead’s continued momentum in collegiate headwear

NEW BEDFORD, Mass.   – With March Madness just around the corner, Ahead continues to build momentum in its rapidly growing collegiate headwear business, strengthening relationships with campus retailers nationwide and introducing innovative new designs that celebrate school spirit.

Ahead’s collegiate division has experienced significant growth as the company’s dedicated sales team works closely with campus stores and retail vendors across the country to deliver distinctive headwear that resonates with students, alumni, and fans alike. This expansion reflects increasing demand for premium collegiate headwear that blends traditional team pride with modern design.

One of the highlights of Ahead’s lineup is the introduction of the Playbook Collection, a bold new approach to collegiate headwear.

“We receive numerous requests from our collegiate customers for something extraordinary,” said Shane Trease, National Sales Manager, Team program. “That’s why we’ve created the Playbook Collection, a line designed to capture the true spirit of a school and fan base. This collection brings together team colors, standout styles, and high-concept designs with distinctive ornamentation for a look that’s anything but ordinary.”

In addition to its campus retail partnerships, Ahead continues to expand its direct-to-consumer presence through its online platform, which offers fans a wide array of schools and unique ornamentation styles.

Beyond stadiums and arenas, Ahead’s collegiate presence extends to the golf course. The company serves as the exclusive headwear partner of the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) for Divisions I, II, and III. Ahead is also a member vendor of the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA), further reinforcing its commitment to collegiate athletics.
