Phnom Penh, Cambodia – Vattanac Golf Resort, Cambodia’s premier golf destination, in partnership with Vattanac Brewery and Vattanac Bank, proudly announces that it will host the Vattanac Legends Championship – Legacy Edition, following on from the first-ever Legends Tour event in Cambodia last week. The tournament will take place from 26th to 28th November 2025 on the West Course.
This landmark championship will once again bring together some of golf’s most celebrated figures, including Ryder Cup players, Major champions, and international stars, marking another historic milestone for both Cambodia and the global golfing community.
The Vattanac Legends Championship – Legacy Edition, will again place Cambodia firmly on the world stage, reinforcing the Kingdom’s reputation as a rising sports and tourism destination. With international coverage, the event is expected to reach millions of golf fans across Europe, Asia, and beyond, shining a spotlight not only on Phnom Penh and Vattanac Golf Resort but also on the unity, pride, and progress of the Cambodian people.
The Vattanac Legends Championship, hosted 21st to 23rd November, was won by David Drysdale who finished the tournament on 12 under par, edging English duo Peter Baker and Anthony Wall. For Drysdale, the win ends a 19-year wait, spanning 576 DP World Tour and 13 Legend Tour events.
Designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo, Vattanac Golf Resort, managed by Troon Golf, features two award-winning championship courses that seamlessly blend world-class design with Khmer cultural heritage.
