The LM1 portable launch monitor delivers essential performance data to help every golfer practice smarter.

Edinburgh, Scotland, UK – Shot Scope, an industry leader in performance driven golf technology, today announces the official availability of the new LM1 Launch Monitor delivering accurate, easy to understand performance data in a compact, affordable device. Designed to make data driven practice accessible to every golfer, the LM1 is available for $199.99 MSRP with no subscription fees.

The all new LM1 marks a pivotal step in Shot Scope’s evolution toward a seamless, 360-degree on and off course product ecosystem. Built on the brand’s mission to help golfers play better through meaningful insights, LM1 strips away complexity to focus on the metrics that golfers actually need – presented in a format that is simple, intuitive, and immediately actionable.

“The launch of LM1 marks a major step forward in our mission to give every golfer access to technology and products that genuinely help them play better.” said David Hunter, CEO of Shot Scope. “By combining powerful data with an easy to use design, LM1 delivers the accuracy and insight golfers expect, at a price point that opens the door for more golfers to benefit from true performance data. It’s an exciting milestone for us and for the future of accessible golf technology.”

Powered by Doppler radar technology, the LM1 measures five key performance metrics for effective practice: club speed, ball speed, smash factor (calculated in real time), carry distance, and total distance. By capturing both swing and ball data, LM1 gives golfers a clear understanding of how efficiently they generate speed and convert it into distance – critical insight for improving consistency and optimizing equipment and swing changes.

Designed for versatility, the LM1 is compact, lightweight, easy to read with a bright 3.5 inch color display, and straightforward to set up for use both indoors and outdoors. Golfers simply place the device approximately 5ft behind the hitting position, power it on, select a club, and swing away. With up to five hours of battery life, LM1 supports extended range sessions, at home practice, or focused on-course play – bringing clarity and continuity to the improvement process. After practice sessions, the LM1 can sync the session to the Shot Scope App so golfers can evaluate their progress.

Positioned as the ideal portable launch monitor, the LM1 delivers trusted Shot Scope accuracy without the cost or complexity often associated with launch monitor technology. With no ongoing fees, no subscription requirements, and a streamlined user experience, the LM1 lowers the barrier to data-driven improvement while maintaining the performance standards Shot Scope is known for.

For the first time, golfers can connect practice and play in one place, unlocking a clearer, more complete picture of their game. With the launch of the LM1, Shot Scope continues to strengthen its position at the forefront of modern golf technology – empowering golfers of all abilities to practice with purpose and play with confidence.

The addition of the LM1 adds to Shot Scope’s ecosystem of products, covering golfers’ needs and wants both on and off the course, regardless of their budget or tech preference:
