You are cordially invited to join Jim Koppenhaver and cohort-in-crime Stuart Lindsay for our 23rd consecutive annual “State of the Industry” (SoI) presentation during the 2026 PGA Show in the Orange County Convention Center. This year’s discussion will once again be conducted in the Media Center on the upper level of the OCC and below are the details:

  • 2026 State of the Industry Report
  • Jan 22, 2026 01:30pm ET – Jan 22, 2026 03:00pm ET
  • Orange County Convention Center West
  • 9800 International Dr, PGA Merchandise Show, Room W312-A, Orlando, FL 32819

The reservation process for attending Pellucid’s 23rd consecutive annual Pellucid State of the Industry discussion during the PGA Merchandising Show at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando FL is now open.

This year’s headline is “New Records but…Slowing Growth” and Jim K. will cover quantitative industry health measures for ’25 focusing on our unique and exclusive 8 KPI industry scorecard (Golf Revenue, Rounds, Rate/Rd, Capacity Rds, GRevpAR, Utilization, Avg. Peak Rate, % Discount) along with the annual golfer base analysis. Stuart is sprinting to keep up with the changes in technology (AI and web-scraping for tee time availability etc.) and sorting out which of these are ready for primetime and wide adoption by operators vs. “best theory”. He’ll also address advances we’re making in Customer Franchise Analysis to drive better retention via Customer Relationship Management as well discussing the increasing interest by private equity in golf and whether valuations “pencil out” (kind of like the potential AI “bubble”). We’ll also be joined again this year on the podium by Ross Liggett of Metolius Golf to discuss how we’re jointly bringing touchless and automated Customer Franchise Analysis to life in their platform.

Seating in the room is 75 and the GoToWebinar reservation system is being used to anticipate and accommodate as many in-person as possible. We can have up to 500 on the live webinar so online audience capacity won’t be a problem (we won’t however be rebroadcasting so “listening live” will be your sole “free” opportunity). We’ll also be collecting PGA Member numbers in the reservation process for 2 PDR credits for verified attendees (in-person or online). You may now register using the below link, hope to “see” you there, whether in-person or online!

PS – We’ll also be doing an abbreviated SoI session as part of the Golf Business Conference for attendees of that event on Tuesday, 1/20 from 9:45-10:35AM; you’re allowed to double-dip and attend both! (ha, ha).
