In June 2018, Ian Gilligan had just finished his freshman year of high school. He was 15. Then came the diagnosis: stage 4 lymphoma. Two months after treatment ended, he was back competing. Ian went on to win six times in college, earn PING All-American honors twice, and secure his Korn Ferry Tour card through PGA Tour University. To date, he sits inside the top-20 on the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour Points List and is within striking distance of earning his PGA Tour card. This is his story.
