Connecticut’s Newest Golf and Entertainment Destination Brings Industry-Leading Technology, Elevated Hospitality and a One-of-A-Kind Social Experience to South Norwalk
Norwalk, CT – Five Iron Golf, the global leader in indoor golf and social entertainment, today announced the grand opening of its first Connecticut location in South Norwalk. Located in the Sono 50 building at 50 Washington Street, doors will soft open to guests on Monday, August 10, and its official grand opening celebration will take place on Wednesday, August 12 at 10:00 AM, with the first 50 guests in line receiving a complimentary 30-minute simulator session to celebrate Five Iron Golf’s arrival in Connecticut.
The new 8,500-square-foot venue features ten state-of-the-art Trackman simulators which give golfers the opportunity to tee off and play at more than 400 iconic golf courses from around the world, including the likes of Pebble Beach and St. Andrews. In addition, the simulators also offer advanced multi-angle swing-capture technology, providing golfers with detailed video analysis of their swing which they can then fine tune with Five Iron Golf instructors to improve their game. Expected to bring approximately 40 jobs to the community, the Norwalk location is owned and operated by seasoned Five Iron Golf franchisees John Cornelius, Jeff Kelly, Jacob Dowden, George Jamgochian and Bruce MacKenzie, the same group of operators behind Five Iron Golf Port Chester, which officially opened in September 2025. Continuing their expansion in the region, the group will be opening up its third Five Iron Golf location in New Haven in 2027.

Anchored in the heart of South Norwalk, the two-level venue serves as a vibrant social destination, featuring two full-service bars, a full-service kitchen, flexible private event space and elevated hospitality throughout. The venue also features custom artwork by Boston-based artist Erica Hagler, professionally known as Blind Fox, whose vibrant street and pop art adds a unique visual element to the Five Iron Golf experience. Guests can sharpen their game with Five Iron’s professional coaching staff, compete in seasonal leagues and nationwide Five Iron Tournaments, and access Callaway Tour Fitting services. Registration is now open for Five Iron’s Fall League, which tees off in September and connects golfers across locations in a season-long competition. Beyond individual play, Five Iron Golf Norwalk will offer year-round programming for golfers of all ages and skill levels, including junior clinics (ages 6–14), women’s programming and instruction designed for players, families and groups alike. The ownership group also plans to partner with First Tee and other local organizations to support youth golf development and community engagement throughout Fairfield County.
