Phoenix, AZ – Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy has been announced as the presenting sponsor for the fourth annual 2026 I GOT THIS Championship, the only WR4GD-sanctioned adaptive golf tournament in the United States specifically for players with an intellectual disability. The tournament focuses on talent, community, and inclusion. Scheduled from February 13 to 15, 2026, at Toka Sticks Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona, the championship will gather athletes, families, and supporters from across North America for a celebration of competitive spirit.
The inspiration behind the I GOT THIS Foundation and its programs stems from a remarkable moment on January 29, 2019, during the WM Phoenix Open’s Dream Day. Amy Bockerstette, a determined athlete with Down syndrome, showcased her talent and determination by making a par on the famous 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale, alongside PGA Tour players Gary Woodland and Matt Kuchar. This moment, captured on video by the PGA Tour and viewed over 60 million times, sparked the foundation’s mission to promote golf instruction and playing opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.

Since 2019, the I GOT THIS Foundation has focused on nurturing golf skills and opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. The I GOT THIS Championship presented by Tarrytown Expocare Pharmacy is a 36-hole independent play tournament designed exclusively for competitive golfers with intellectual disabilities. Participants must be Special Olympics athletes or qualify under USAGA Sport Class G15, intellectual disability. Early registration is encouraged due to limited space.
