Where Are Titleist Golf Balls Made? (+ More Titleist Facts)

Titleist golf balls have been the industry’s gold standard for several decades. Most PGA Tour professionals play either the Titleist Pro V1 or the Pro V1x.

But do you know where Titleist golf balls are made? Most new golfers are surprised to learn that some of their favorite golf balls are made in the USA and internationally.

You’ll learn intricate details about Titleist in this post. We’ll cover where Titleist golf balls are made, provide an average price range for their balls, and discuss the sponsorship deals Titleist has with PGA Tour golfers.

Where Are Titleist Golf Balls Made?

All Titleist golf balls are made in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Who Owns Titleist?

The company was founded by an MIT graduate named Phillip Young back in the early 1930s. Young was enjoying a round of golf with his dentist when he noticed that the weight of his golf ball was off when he putted.

After doing a deep dive into different golf balls, Young found that most were inaccurate because of poor design. This is the reason why he created the Titleist brand. Today, Titleist is owned by Acushnet, which was bought by a Korean investment group for over a billion dollars back in 2011.

Pro Players Who Use Titleist Golf Balls

The list of pro golfers who play with Titleist balls include:

  • Jordan Spieth
  • Nelly Korda
  • Will Zalatoris
  • Patrick Cantlay
  • Garrick Higgo
  • Danielle Kang
  • Justin Thomas
  • Webb Simpson
