Seed adds orange design to golf ball range

Seed Golf is promising to add a splash of colour to the fairways across the world with the launch of its new SD-01 OrangeAF balls.

Founded in 2017, the Ireland-based company sells golf equipment direct to consumers at a significantly lower price than other premium brands.

Vibrant, visible and boasting the same high performance as the brand’s popular white balls, the eye-catching new OrangeAF ball retails at £30 per dozen – the same as their colourless counterparts.

The balls represent the third generation of SD-01, a refinement of Seed’s original signature golf ball. With an ultra-thin urethane cover and the unique ‘SeedSpeed’ core, the three-piece ball is designed to maximise control, responsiveness and distance without breaking the bank.

Like all Seed Golf balls, packs of OrangeAF can be purchased individually or through the brand’s customisable subscription-based service, which allows customers to easily switch between different Seed balls at any time.

Dean Klatt, founder and CEO of Seed Golf, said: “The classic white ball will always be iconic in golf, but more and more modern players like to be a bit different, and that’s where our OrangeAF balls come in. With an orange ball you’re getting the same quality that we strive for in all of our products – that is, performance that’s as good as you’ll find anywhere on the market – with the added benefits of visibility both off the tee and in longer grass.”

As well as a range of distinct golf balls and colours to choose from, Seed produces golf bags, gloves, headwear, tees and putting mats.
