Callaway has unveiled its new Apex Pro Series, which it describes ‘as the most advanced, Tour-endorsed’ range of irons and utility clubs the company has ever produced.

On sale for custom orders only from September 9, Callaway’s R&D team worked over a three-year period with a host of its tour staff professionals, including world top-10 players Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele, to revolutionise every detail of the Apex Pro Seriesl.

The result is an all-new range featuring four new irons and two utility clubs – Apex Pro, Apex CB, Apex MB in the irons category, plus Apex UT and Apex UW utility clubs. All perform to the very highest standards of distance, control, sound, feel and turf interaction, and are each specifically designed for a different player and application. From loft packages to sole geometries and shapes, the Apex Pro Series irons can be combined in any fashion with other Pro Series models to meet a player’s specific needs. All Pro Series Irons also feature the same back weight to give fitters more control to dial in the perfect swing weight.

Dave Neville, Senior Director, Brand and Product Development, Callaway Golf, commented: “Apex, the now iconic Callaway franchise that effectively invented the players’ distance category, takes a significant step forward with the launch of Pro Series. Our Staff Professionals are uncompromising in what they expect and working closely with our design team, Pro Series genuinely represents the ultimate family of high-performance, beautifully-crafted products for the game’s most accomplished players.”
