The PGA Tour stays in California for a third consecutive week and several celebrities will be in attendance for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am at Pebble Beach Golf Links. World No. 1 Scottie and No. 2 Rory McIlroy headline the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field. McIlroy is listed as the 15-2 favorite, followed by Scheffler (8-1), Viktor Hovland (12-1), Xander Schauffele (16-1), Jordan Spieth (18-1), Patrick Cantlay (20-1), Max Homa (20-1), and Collin Morikawa (22-1). Defending champion Justin Rose is an 80-1 long shot. The field will be playing for a $20 million purse with the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 being the second signature event of the season. The winner of the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will take home $3.6 million.

With One and Done pool just ramping up for the 2024 season, it is imperative to get off to a fast start and nail your one and done picks this week. Should you use this event to target a favorite McIlroy, Scheffler, or Hovland? Or would it make sense to take a long shot like Hideki Matsuyama, Wyndham Clark, or Rickie Fowler? Before locking in your 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks, you need to see what SportsLine DFS pro and PGA expert Mike McClure has to say.

The One and Done format is growing in popularity. It has several noticeable similarities to NFL Survivor pools, with the main difference being entries are not eliminated with a bad week. Players pick one golfer per week and earn points based on their selected golfer’s prize money for that tournament. Golfers can only be used once per season, and the point format makes nailing majors and big money tournaments critical.

McClure is a DFS legend with over $2 million in career winnings, and he’s been red-hot on his PGA picks dating back to the PGA Tour restart in June of 2020. McClure uses his proprietary simulation model to analyze the field and crush his golf picks.

McClure nailed plenty of One and Done picks in 2023. At the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open, McClure’s top One and Done pick, Max Homa, outlasted the entire field to take home his sixth career PGA Tour victory and $1.566 million. At the WM Phoenix Open, McClure nailed Scheffler winning the tournament, taking home $3.6 million.

He correctly called Jon Rahm’s wins at The Masters and the Sentry Tournament of Champions. Then at the RBC Canadian Open McClure listed Nick Taylor and Tyrrell Hatton as two of his top one and done picks. Taylor would go on to win the tournament, while Hatton finished in third place. And finally, at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, his top OAD pick was eventual tournament champion Rickie Fowler.

Earlier this year, One of his top OAD picks was for The American Express was Justin Thomas, who finished in third place and took home $635,600.

Now, McClure has dialed in on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am golf tournament and just locked in his one and done picks and PGA predictions. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge in their One and Done pool. You can only see McClure’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am 2024 one and done picks at SportsLine.

Top 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am One and Done picks

One of McClure’s top One and Done picks for the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is Scottie Scheffler. The world No. 1 finished in the top-five 13 times in 2023, notching outright wins at the WM Phoenix Open, The Players, and the Hero World Challenge. Scheffler is a serious threat to win any tournament he enters and tends to thrive against elite fields. In his two starts this season, Scheffler has finished in fifth place at The Sentry and 17th place at The American Express.

Scheffler finished the 2023 season ranked at or near the top of the PGA Tour in several key metrics. He ranked first on the Tour in total strokes gained (2.314), strokes gained tee-to-green (2.615), strokes gained off-the-tee (1.021), and strokes gained on approach (1.194), fifth in strokes gained around the green (0.399), and ninth in total driving. He’s gotten off to another fast start in 2024, and McClure expects to see his name near the top of the 2024 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday. You can see who else to back at SportsLine.
