2023 PGA Championship tee times, pairings: Complete field, schedule, groups for Round 2 on Friday

The 2023 PGA Championship caught up to its schedule Friday morning as Round 1 concluded as Round 2 began simultaneously. By the time the first 18 holes were officially in the books, Bryson DeChambeau emerged alone atop the leaderboard at 4 under, holding a one-shot lead on a bevy of talented competitors.

Dustin Johnson, the two-time major champion who was nearly flawless around the Donald Ross design on Thursday, was among the group sitting one shot off DeChambeau’s lead. D.J. got his second round started at 8:22 a.m. ET alongside Xander Schauffele and Tyrrell Hatton. This group followed the trio of Max Homa, Tony Finau and Adam Scott, who are all still in this championship and aimed to make a push entering Moving Day when they got started at 8:11 a.m.

In the afternoon, big names will look to make their imprint on this championship. World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler begins the day at 3 under sits be alongside Brooks Koepka and Gary Woodland at 1:25 p.m. A few tee times later at 1:58 p.m., world No. 1 Jon Rahm will battle towards the cutline alongside Matt Fitzpatrick and Cameron Smith.
