The Club at Mill Green in Hertfordshire is hosting the Get Golfing Festival of Golf later this month, which promises to offer a week-long celebration of unity and inclusivity within golf.

Supported by a number of partners across the golf industry, including England Golf, the LET Access Series, the Golf Foundation, the EDGA Tour, and the Annika Women’s All Pro Tour, the festival is taking place at the popular Hatfield based-club between August 26-September 1.

SUPERSTARS IN THE MAKING

The showpiece event of the week is Mill Green’s hosting of the Get Golfing Women’s Golf Championship, a Ladies European Tour Access Series event where rising stars of the women’s professional game will be playing for over €80,000.

The 54-hole tournament is being staged from August 30-September 1, and everyone is invited to come and watch the super stars of the future in action.

FUN FOR ALL THE FAMILY

The week will also include a wide variety of competitions and events for amateurs and golfers of all ages and skill levels, including a Super Sixes tournament, Glow Golf, a Celebrity Pro-Am, the Adidas Junior Open, a Single Shot Inrange Island Challenge, Fantastic Fours, tasters sessions, The British Long Drive Championship qualifiers and final, a Women’s G4D Series event for golfers with a disability, and a family FootGolf competition.

There will be prizes and competition draws galore and plenty of opportunities to show off your skills whatever your age or golf handicap.

Whether you play on the 9-hole Academy course (for those without a handicap) or take on the Championship course setup for either 9 or 18 holes, it’s sure to be a fun day for everyone, regardless of your ability.
