The Stiletto Tool… A New Concept

TEN YEARS IN THE MAKING.

Worcester, MA: A work of art.  Elite.  Crazy cool.  Game changer.  These are all phrases used to define this vision:  A golf tool that inspires a “wow” literally every time someone sees it or hears you use it. In a world of 1000 variations of the divot/green repair tool. This multi-function tool is the world’s first fully automatic stiletto-action tool.   The blade automatically shoots out the front with a push of a button and automatically retracts as well – all with the distinctive sound of a stiletto switchblade.   This tool is an absolute head turner on the course as soon as you fire the blade.   It also has a club rest/cigar holder and ball marker adding to the utility of this very stylish and incredibly high-quality tool.   The Stiletto is available in a classic black nylon textured handle and a prestige model made from real hardwood.

President of Stiletto Golf, LLC, Jim Rourke comments: “We have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm for the Stiletto tool.  “One day I was watching a movie with my son, and the bad guy about to start a gang fight fires a switchblade knife with that intimidating distinctive sound, and I just couldn’t get this idea out of my head.  I thought if I could actually make this work in a golf repair tool, it would be a product that could bring a paradigm shift to a very standard golf product.”

Jim Rourke began this journey more than ten years ago.  Finally, he succeeded with an heirloom-quality Stiletto-switchblade action ball mark repair tool that looks and feels like nothing else.  Plus, it has the unmistakable signature Stiletto switchblade sound. This distinctive double click is right out of a Hollywood knife fight.  Although side-swinging switchblades have existed for years and are very common, they have to be manually folded and can be accidentally triggered in your pocket.   The Stiletto is fully automatic firing and retracting out of the front of the tool, and it is impossible to open accidentally.  Again, it looks and sounds like nothing else.

The Stiletto tool is currently available to retailers and can be sold out of a custom display included with a first order.  This is especially nice for pro shops.   The utility features of using as a cigar holder or club stand is just an added bonus of course, but it is very useful on the course.  They will be available with custom logo ball markers as well making them perfect for course and tournament gifts.   Of course, every golfer should carry a repair tool on their round, but the stiletto is just something new and different that every golfer will envy for sure.

Jim Rourke adds, “This is just the beginning of our line.   We have the very stylish wood version as well as the classic black nylon.   But soon we will be releasing other wood versions as well as pink Nylon for the ladies and three different colors of anodize aluminum.   The samples are amazing, but we are too far out to predict their release”

Every once in a while a product comes along that just changes what we carry in our golf bags.   The Stiletto Tool is certain to do just that.
