Purpose:
To improve static balance, postural control, and proprioception. Commonly used in fall prevention programs and lower extremity rehab.
Description:
Stand upright with one foot placed directly in front of the other, heel touching toe (as if standing on a tightrope). Hold this position for 30–60 seconds without moving. Switch feet and repeat. Perform near a stable surface if needed for support.

Tips:
Keep your eyes forward and core engaged. For added challenge, try closing your eyes or performing on a softer surface like a foam pad.
