Sun Mountain Sports Launches the Next Generation ClubGlider3 Travel Bag

MISSOULA, Montana  – Sun Mountain Sports has launched the new ClubGlider3 travel bag, the latest evolution of the ClubGlider franchise that has helped define golf travel for more than a decade.

Built on the longstanding success of the ClubGlider line, the ClubGlider3 is designed for airports, parking lots, baggage claims and the realities of modern golf travel. Combining Sun Mountain’s patented retractable kickstand system with precision glide wheels, the bag delivers smooth, balanced movement from departure to arrival while reducing the strain of transporting fully loaded clubs.

The ClubGlider3 introduces new and enhanced features focused on protection, durability and travel convenience — all built to Sun Mountain’s TQR Standard: Trust. Quality. Reliability.

What’s New & Improved

  • Made from weather- and abrasion-resistant polyester ripstop for rugged durability
  • A TPU film laminate and DWR finish form a systematic line of defense against the elements
  • Thermoform-molded casing and velour-lined interior shield and protect clubs
  • Industrial-grade two-way zippers and heavy-duty clips keep gear secure
  • Integrated TSA lock and internal AirTag pocket offer total protection and security
  • External and internal pockets maximize storage and organization
  • A larger Tour model of theClubGlider3, designed for staff bags, will be available later this year.

“Golf travel continues to grow, whether it’s destination golf trips, bucket-list experiences or business travel connected to the game,” said Grant Lordan, senior director of marketing and brand strategy for Sun Mountain Sports. “Golfers invest significant time and money into these trips, and protecting their equipment should not be an afterthought. One damaged club or travel issue can impact an entire trip before the first tee shot. With ClubGlider3, we focused on creating a more protective, secure and durable travel bag while maintaining the ease of use that made ClubGlider an industry leader through our patented retractable kickstand system, which continues to make navigating airports and travel destinations easier.”
