Ridgeland, MS and Centerville, UT — SkyGolf®, the global leader in GPS with professional accuracy, analytics, and connected performance intelligence across on-course play, off-course practice, and indoor simulation, and TruGolf® (Nasdaq:TRUG), one of the most trusted and innovative brands in the golf simulation and launch-monitor market, today announced a strategic SDK integration and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partnership designed to transform how golfers practice, play, and improve—both indoors and outdoors.

This collaboration marks the first major partnership of its kind between SkyGolf’s breakthrough SuperTags™ and a leading simulation ecosystem, setting a new benchmark for connected game intelligence across every environment where golfers play.

A New Era of Connected Practice and Play

SuperTags — ultra-light, highly-intelligent, Bluetooth sensors that attach discreetly to the end of each club — capture more than 20 swing and putting metrics, including face angle, tempo, peak hand speed, release point, CHS, critical shaft angles, and animated 3D capture of each swing path from address to impact.

When paired with TruGolf’s immersive virtual golf experiences, the integration unlocks a powerful combination:

  • Unified indoor and outdoor analytics through one smart performance platform
  • Club-ID intelligence eliminates manual club selection
  • Deeper insight into drivers, wedges, approach shots, and short game — where strokes are gained
  • AI-ready 3D swing data enabling swing fault detection and personalized improvement
  • A complete swing-to-score feedback loop delivering faster results

“Launch monitors are phenomenal at ball flight and metrics,” said Richard Edmonson CEO of SkyGolf. “But golf is a club-and-ball game—and until now, players have only seen half the story. SuperTags add actionable swing data to TruGolf’s ball data and a world-class ecosystem to bring a golfer’s entire story to life in every environment golfers love to play.”

Expanding Innovation to More Golfers, More Easily

Under this partnership, TruGolf will integrate SuperTag technology into its software platforms and serve as a Value-Added Reseller, offering SuperTags to its fast-growing base of simulator owners, launch-monitor users, and golf facilities.

“For twenty-five years, TruGolf has been connecting golfers to the game they love,” said Chris Jones, CEO at TruGolf. “Our collaboration with SkyGolf extends that mission—giving players richer data, deeper understanding, and more meaningful improvement wherever they play.”

For golfers, the value is immediate:
Whether practicing in a garage, competing online in a TruGolf simulator studio, or playing 18 holes outside, their game intelligence now travels with them—delivering continuous performance momentum all year long.

Purpose-Built for the Future of the Game

The integration supports the fast-growing crossover between simulation, instruction, and on-course play, as golf participation and connected technology adoption continue to accelerate worldwide.

“SkyGolf and TruGolf share a bold vision,” added Richard Edmonson, CEO of SkyGolf. “Modern golfers want smarter, simpler technology that adapts to them. This partnership ensures players at all skill levels can get more from the simulator and launch-monitor systems they already own—and enjoy golf with more confidence, more fun, and faster improvement.”

The first phase of the SuperTag + TruGolf integration is expected to launch in Q1 2026.
