Montalcino, Italy – Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, in collaboration with The Club at Castiglion del Bosco, proudly presents the inaugural Rosewood CdB Golf Cup. Held from October 3 to 5, 2025, this exclusive tournament invites a curated group of amateur players and select members from international clubs to experience an immersive journey combining championship golf, fine wine, and extraordinary hospitality.
Participants will enjoy rare access to Italy’s only private golf course — typically reserved exclusively for club members and in-resort guests — offering them the unique opportunity to experience the estate as if they were true members. Set in the heart of the UNESCO-protected Val d’Orcia, this exclusive tournament — with strictly limited places — marks the first step in what aspires to become an annual tradition. The goal is to expand across Rosewood golf properties globally, building a refined network of international tournaments that embody the Rosewood spirit in the world’s most remarkable destinations.
The experience concludes with an elegant four-course prizegiving dinner, expertly paired with wines from the estate’s vineyards, including the prestigious Brunello di Montalcino of our Estate.
Prizes for the tournament include a luxury stay and golf experience at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs and Rosewood Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand, a personalized golf bag featuring The Club at Castiglion del Bosco logo, and a 3-liter bottle of Brunello di Montalcino 2019.
Nicola Migheli, Managing Director of Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, commented: “The Rosewood CdB Golf Cup marks a new chapter in our commitment to offering unparalleled experiences to discerning guests. It is a unique opportunity to combine five-star hospitality with a private championship golf course — a privilege rarely found in Europe.”

Our Weiskopf-designed course is one of the finest in Europe, and this tournament invites players to discover what makes it so special.”
