Leesburg, VA – Grab your golf group and head to Lansdowne Resort, conveniently situated on 500 rolling acres along the Potomac River in Virginia’s Loudoun County, where a mid-week escape with golf groups in mind.

This two-night, three-day package affords just the right amount of time to sneak away for some golf bonding time.  The package includes luxurious, spacious accommodations, two $75 dinner credits for each golfer, breakfast in the Riverside Hearth Restaurant each morning, and a round of golf on both of the Resort’s award-winning, 18-hole courses. Box lunches are provided during the golf rounds.

The Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Golf Course is a 7,063-yard, par-72 and provides mental challenges with risk and reward holes.  While friendly, the strategic layout demands the player’s best play – regardless of skill level.  Tackling this course promises to be memorable, especially with the gang in tow.

The Greg Norman Golf Course is a 7,332-yard par-72 layout that meanders along the Potomac River, winding through a mature hardwood forest and adjacent to rocky outcroppings. While considered challenging, the Norman Course remains enjoyable for everyday golfers, with tees that fit a multitude of skill levels – including the memorable “island tees” on the par-4, first hole.

To settle any bets or for a friendly, post-round match, the resort features a nine-hole course, also designed by Norman, called SharkBite. Five sets of tees deliver a total yardage of just over 2,300 from the back tees. Guests may play here for an additional fee.

Besides the three golf course options, Lansdowne Resort has a double-sided practice range, a golf academy for all levels of players, and GEARS, an advanced biomechanics system to capture every swing motion, then analyze it—from address to follow-through.
