Scottsdale, AZ  – The I GOT THIS Foundation is thrilled to announce the return of the I GOT THIS® Golf Camp to Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, presented in part by Unomojo. This unique camp runs from September 29 – October 3, 2025, and is designed to provide professional golf instruction in an inclusive and supportive environment, fostering the growth and development of athletes with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.

The inspiration behind the I GOT THIS Foundation stems from a remarkable moment during the 2019 WM Phoenix Open. Representing Special Olympics Arizona, Amy Bockerstette, made par on the famous 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale, alongside pro Gary Woodland. This moment, captured on video by the PGA Tour with an estimated 60 million views, is behind the foundation’s mission to promote golf instruction and playing opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.

Tracy Hupko, Executive Director, shared her appreciation for the foundation’s return to Camelback Golf Club, “Camelback Golf Club’s central location and exceptional facility allow us to provide foundational instructional experiences for our Athletes. Golf is a sport for everyone, and we are committed to ensuring that individuals with intellectual disabilities can discover its benefits.” These benefits include developing hand-eye coordination, enhancing motor skills, improving socialization, learning a lifelong sport and more.

Launched in 2021, the I GOT THIS Golf Camp aims to equip participants aged 13+ with the skills needed to jumpstart their journey in golf and play alongside family and friends. Led by instructor Matt Acuff, each day at camp teaches athletes new skills, building a strong foundation for them to play. The week culminates in a Skills Showcase, where family and friends are invited to celebrate the “I GOT THIS!” moments of the athletes. Participants will receive a Personal Best Record to track their progress, offering a roadmap from instructors for continued practice, supporting their golf journey going forward.
