GolfN, the App That Pays You to Play, Upgrades its In-App Pro Shop

Rewards app offers more ways to earn, purchase, and redeem premium golf gear.

MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA — GolfN,  the innovative golf rewards platform and digital caddie app that pays golfers to play, proudly unveils its new and improved in-app Pro Shop Marketplace which features more ways earn and redeem points on a wide array of golf products from the industry’s leading manufacturers.

The golf community’s first true rewards app, GolfN allows members to redeem points they accrue by playing rounds with the GolfN mobile app engaged – with or without its dynamic GPS yardage and digital caddie mode. GolfN’s Pro Shop, which showcases more than 380 items from 28 top-tier golf vendors, now allows users to pay for gear entirely with earned points, with a credit card, or split between the two, marking the first time GolfN has offered this full flexibility at checkout.

“Our users told us they wanted a way to combine points and cash the same way that airline or credit card rewards portals do, so we’re excited to give them accessibility and functionality they’re looking for,” said GolfN Founder and CEO Jared Phillips. “These upgrades to our Marketplace give golfers much more power and unique options for getting the great golf gear they want in their bag. Golfers in our app ecosystem always feel like they’re winning, they’re getting something back. What other golf retail experience is like that?”

With more functional and detailed navigation in the GolfN Pro Shop, members can search by category, brand, and other attributes to find desired items more easily.

GolfN app members can now also Favorite items in the Pro Shop and monitor the progress of the points they earn toward that particular golf product. “By Favoriting items, our members always know how close they are to earning something they want in the Pro Shop. So, if an item in the Pro Shop costs 5,000 points and you’ve got 2,500, you can see yourself getting closer to earning that item. That’s a useful tracking component, especially as you get closer to getting your hands on something like a new driver or set of irons,” Phillips adds.

Another new feature in the app is the ability to earn five percent back on cash purchases. Every dollar spent in the Pro Shop earns GolfN points back, so cash purchases keep players on the track of earning rewards points, the same way playing rounds of golf does in the GolfN ecosystem. On occasion, GolfN’s brand partner campaigns will return more than five percent in reward points, giving members additional earning power tied to the products they’re already redeeming or buying.

“When GolfN started three years ago, we had this simple vision of building a platform that gives something back to golfers and creating an engagement and loyalty and reward system that was self-perpetuating: playing golf earns you points, your points can be redeemed for great golf gear, then those things help you when you play, and you go play more and you’re building more rewards to use on things you really want,” Phillips explains.

“So much of what makes the GolfN app unique is the ease of navigation, the way everything is fun and intuitive and we needed our Marketplace to reflect the growth we’ve had and to best represent all of the partners we work with now, like Cobra Golf, L.A.B. Golf, Miura, and our original partner Cleveland/Srixon,” said Jared Phillips. “This update is all about delivering a better in-app experience. The Pro Shop now functions at the same engaging level that we’ve set in every other area of the app.”

Another loyalty-driving cornerstone of the GolfN platform is its thrilling rotation of sweepstakes opportunities, in which there is always something new to bid on or win. To date, golfers have secured extraordinary prizes such as a nine-day golf trip to Northern Ireland, a L.A.B. Golf putter fitting excursion to Oregon, an expenses-paid trip to Carlsbad, Calif. For a full-bag Cobra Golf custom fitting experience, a custom Bettinardi putter set, with more enticing offers – and chances to win – from GolfN’s growing list of Points Exchange partners.

The GolfN app is free to use, ensuring that any golfer can begin earning immediately. For those seeking to accelerate their rewards, GolfN offers optional membership tiers that provide points multipliers and enhanced earning potential — without compromising the core free experience.

GolfN was designed to make every round more rewarding, every golfer more engaged, and every moment connected to the game more valuable. The app is available to golfers everywhere in Apple and Android versions.
