Wayne, PA and Chantilly, VA: Golf Genius, the leading worldwide provider of cloud solutions for golf professionals, facilities, tours and associations, and GOLFZON, the global leader in golf simulator technology, today announced a new strategic partnership focused on advancing tournament and league experiences in the rapidly growing golf simulator market.

Under the terms of the partnership, Golf Genius is designated as the Official Tournament Management Solution for select GOLFZON competitive platforms, including the GOLFZON Tour. GOLFZON is named a Preferred Golf Simulator Partner of Golf Genius. The collaboration brings together two category leaders to support simulator operators with the best tools, training, and competitive programming in order to grow bay utilization, drive customer engagement and build repeat visits at simulator facilities. Today, GOLFZON has 300 locations in the United States and over 12,697 globally.

Beginning this year, Golf Genius and GOLFZON will collaborate on marketing, education, and competitive initiatives supporting leagues, tournaments, and events hosted at GOLFZON-powered facilities. Golf Genius will provide the industry’s most comprehensive tournament and league management platform — including features such as registration, scoring, player standings, and diverse competitive formats — while GOLFZON will continue to supply their best-in-class simulator technology and immersive play environments.

“Simulator golf has matured into a year-round market alongside and complementing green-grass golf,” said George Hansen, VP of Business Development at Golf Genius and leader of its simulator businesses. “Operators are increasingly focused on leagues and events that create community and generate reliable, recurring revenue. By partnering with GOLFZON, we’re pairing world-class simulator technology with our proven tournament management platform to make competitive play easy to administer and more fun and engaging for golfers.”

Leagues and tournaments are key drivers of customer loyalty and utilization for simulator facilities. But many operators face operational challenges managing different competitive formats, managing weekly schedules, and efficiently communicating with their golfers. Through this partnership, these facilities can gain access to tools and best practices that overcome these and other familiar challenges. This combination of leading technologies will attract more participants, whether to casual social leagues or larger, more competitive tournaments.

“Competition is central to the GOLFZON experience,” said Sean Pyun, CEO of GOLFZON America. “Golf Genius brings deep expertise in organizing and scaling competitive golf. Together, we’re helping operators deliver engaging tournament and league experiences that complement GOLFZON’s simulator technology and transform the overall customer experience.”

As part of the agreement, the companies will collaborate on joint webinars, coordinated marketing campaigns, customer education initiatives, and sponsorship of select competitive events, including the GOLFZON Tour. The partnership also establishes a framework for ongoing collaboration, including exploration of integrations as both companies continue to invest in the future of simulator golf.
