West Point, MS  – The Golf Business Network Executive Search Team is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Clay as General Manager of Old Waverly Club in West Point, Mississippi.

Old Waverly Club is renowned for their two world-class 18-hole courses, designed to offer exceptional golfing experiences amid the natural beauty of Mississippi. Old Waverly, designed by Jerry Pate and Bob Cupp, is a classic course with a rich history, having hosted the 1999 Women’s U.S. Open, the 2006 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur, and the 2019 U.S. Women’s Amateur.  Mossy Oak, designed by Gil Hanse, is celebrated for its challenging layout with traditional links-style greens. Together, these courses provide members with unparalleled experiences rooted in tradition and excellence.

A PGA Class A professional and a member of the Club Managers Association of America, Clay is recognized for his high financial acumen, outstanding interpersonal skills, and dedication to enhancing member experiences.

Clay will lead an exciting new chapter for Old Waverly Club. Under new ownership, led by U.S. Open Champion Jerry Pate as Chairman and joined by the Bryan Family along with a small group of investors, Old Waverly and Mossy Oak are now under one umbrella. The Club offers members and their guests two distinct, world-class courses, luxurious accommodations, and unmatched Southern hospitality.
