Top golfers from the PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour and the USGA teeing it up on four incredible courses

Scottsdale, Ariz.  – The PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour and the United States Golf Association will visit four Troon-affiliated golf properties this weekend with three high-profile tournaments – the Procore Championship, the Simmons Bank Open and the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship.

Silverado Resort in Napa, Calif. will host the PGA TOUR’s Procore Championship, September 11-14. The property’s famed North Course with its firm, quick, canted greens will test the 144-golfer field that includes 10 of the 12 U.S. Ryder Cup team members. Set in the heart of wine country, the tournament combines the best of Napa Valley golf, food, wine and fall harvest weather. The Procore Championship will air on Golf Channel and the NBC Sports App on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. EST, Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. EST, and Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. EST. For more information on the Procore Championship, visit https://procorechampionship.com.

Established by the United States Golf Association (USGA) in 1981, the U.S. Mid-Amateur is the national golf championship for amateur golfers age 25 and older. The 264 competitors will play two rounds of stroke play, one at Troon North Golf Club and one at Troon Country Club, with the low 64 advancing to match play at Troon Country Club. Match play rounds of 64 golfers, 32, 16, 8 and 4 will lead to the 36-hole Mid-Amateur Championship between the finalists. “A number of Troon-affiliated locations host professional golf tournaments each year, but this week certainly stands out with so many high-profile events occurring at iconic courses,” said Troon Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing Kris Strauss. “From top amateurs competing at Troon Country Club and Troon North for the USGA Mid-Am title and a highly coveted invite to The Masters, showcasing the future stars at Vanderbilt Legends, to the strong field teeing it up on the North Course at Silverado, this is an exciting week for tournament play. Congratulations and best wishes to the owners, members and teams of relentlessly dedicated associates at each of these incredible facilities.”

In 2025, 20+ professional tournaments, including PGA TOUR, DP World Tour, Asian Tour, PGA TOUR Champions, Epson Tour, LPGA and Korn Ferry Tour events, have been or will soon be held at Troon-affiliated golf properties around the world.
