Future Champions Golf Announces New Exemption

2026 FCG Callaway World Championship Boys 15-18 Champion to Earn Exemption into the 2027 Terra Cotta Invitational

San Diego, CA — Future Champions Golf (FCG), the global leader in junior golf competition, is proud to announce a prestigious new exemption pathway for elite junior golfers competing in the 2026 FCG Callaway World Championship. Beginning with the July 13-15, 2026 Championship, the Boys 15-18 Champion will earn an automatic exemption into the 2027 Terra Cotta Invitational, one of the strongest and most respected amateur golf events in the United States.

The Terra Cotta Invitational, held annually at the renowned Naples National Golf Club in Naples, Florida, is a highly competitive 54-hole stroke play amateur tournament that attracts top amateur players, including collegiate standouts, elite amateurs and past champions who have gone on to success at the professional level. Now in its 30th year, the Terra Cotta Invitational is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR)-recognized event and a key stop on the U.S. amateur golf calendar.

“We are thrilled to partner with one of the premier amateur championships in the world to create a true performance reward for our top junior golfers,” said Chris Smeal, Founder and President of Future Champions Golf. “This exemption reinforces FCG’s commitment to providing meaningful pathways for junior players to advance their competitive careers and gain exposure at elite levels of the game.”

The new exemption will allow the Boys 15-18 Champion from the 2026 FCG Callaway World Championship — already one of the largest and most internationally diverse junior golf events globally — to compete in the 2027 Terra Cotta Invitational without needing to secure an additional invitation. This opportunity aligns with FCG’s mission to support junior golfers’ transition from high-level junior competition into premier amateur events.
