Europe’s #1 push cart and golf bag manufacturer, BIG MAX, has appointed former Wilson global commercial director, Doug Wright, to head up its operations in the U.S. market.
Wright brings extensive experience from a distinguished 27-year career at Wilson, during which he spent a decade heading global commercial operations from Chicago. His appointment represents a significant milestone for BIG MAX as it prepares to capitalize on increasing opportunities for the business in the U.S. market.
“BIG MAX’s dominance in the European market is based on quality and innovation and that is the perfect foundation from which to build a brand,” said Wright upon the announcement of his appointment. “We have experienced significant growth over the last year, so I’m excited to drive that momentum and find new routes to bring these first-class products to more consumers. Following the recent growth of the DTC business in the U.S., the BIG MAX team at its Vienna headquarters felt that the time was right to invest in the omnichannel development of the business. When the opening arose to work with Doug Wright, they grasped the opportunity.
