JOHN’S CREEK, Ga. — The Atlanta Athletic Club (AAC) announced the addition of Rachel Clopton to its golf instructor team and Christina Klejka as the new director of retail.
Clopton, PGA Professional, joins AAC after nearly seven years at Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta, where she led instructional programs and championed junior golf initiatives. She helped launch a U.S. Kids Golf program that grew to 1,300 participants and managed the Club’s popular summer camp.
She also directed the Atlanta Midtown Adaptive Golf monthly program, developed the property’s PGA HOPE initiative—which offers free golf instruction and wellness activities to military veterans, active-duty personnel, and their families—and conducted numerous corporate outings.
Clopton holds a bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management from Mississippi State University.
Klejka brings more than 20 years of experience in club operations, merchandising, and customer service, most recently serving as Member Relations Manager at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta. Her tenure at Cherokee spanned more than 18 years and she earned the PGA National Merchandiser of the Year honor in 2016.
Klejka will oversee AAC’s Golf Shop, which in 2025 received the prestigious Cashman Award from the Association of Golf Merchandisers. She is a graduate of Kennesaw State University with a degree in Business Administration.

Under the guidance of Taylor, AAC boasts a robust team of professional instructors, a renowned teaching facility, and a thriving Junior Golf Program that serves nearly 400 young golfers annually. The club’s R.T. Jones, Jr. Instruction Center offers state-of-the-art swing analysis and practice opportunities for golfers of all ages.
