WHY? This stretch will help you to stretch the deep rotators of your hip, which will help you to rotate your hips in the golf swing!
Start on the ground, with your leg out in front of you at a 90 degree angle. You can also sit on a yoga block to make this exercise easier.
Straighten the opposite leg as far as you can behind you.
While maintaining an upright posture, lean the trunk forward until you feel a stretch in your glute.
Hold this position for the indicated time, then repeat on the opposite side.
