2023 Honda Classic fantasy golf picks
One player Holliman isn’t hesitating to back this week is Im, and not just because he is the highest-ranked player in this field. The 24-year-old has a well-rounded game that will play well anywhere and should be especially effective on a tough course like PGA National. The South Korean ranks in the top 60 in every strokes gained category and is 24th in scoring average (68.82). Im finished in the top six in consecutive tournaments before a 74-73 weekend derailed him at the Genesis. Holliman believes he will bounce back and dominate against this field.
Meanwhile, the expert is fading Lowry, even though he is the 2019 Open champion and one of the clear favorites. The Irishman has been inconsistent and has been struggling to hit greens. He ranks 149th in greens in regulation at less than 67%. Lowry also is 146th in strokes gained around the green and 186th putting. The 35-year-old won on the European tour six months ago, so he can still get it done if he gets hot, but a T-14 last week was his best finish so far this season.
